I'm a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Master of Public Health (MPH) with more than 20 years of nursing experience in women's health, family medicine, and military healthcare. I founded this practice because I believe mental health care should feel different—less rushed, more personal, and centered on understanding you before making treatment decisions. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, psychoeducation, and supportive psychotherapy. My clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety, depression, women's mental health, reproductive and perinatal mental health, and supporting high-performing women balancing careers, family, and the demands of everyday life—including women whose ADHD may not have been recognized until adulthood. Please note that this practice does not provide long-term benzodiazepine prescribing or management. Patients seeking ongoing benzodiazepine treatment should establish care with a provider who offers this service. Comprehensive, evidence-based treatment options for anxiety—including medication management, psychotherapy, and other appropriate interventions—are offered and tailored to each patient's individual needs. My background in public health has strengthened my appreciation for the many factors that influence mental health, including physical health, relationships, lifestyle, and life experiences. I believe the best treatment begins with understanding the whole person—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.
